Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Jeff has lived all over the United States (Kansas, Texas, New York, Maryland, North Carolina, California and Washington), participating as a youth and amateur exhibitor in AQHA competition wherever he’s called home.
Jeff received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the
University of
Kansas and his Masters in Business Administration from
Washburn
University. Over the years, he has enjoyed a career in sales and marketing, working for some of the top companies in the world – Cargill-Nutrena Feeds, Colgate Palmolive, Nestle’ and Warner Brothers. In 1999, Jeff started his own real estate investment company in
Los Angeles, specializing in the purchase, restoration and re-sale of historically significant residential properties. He now focuses his attention on restoring historic homes in Tacoma, Washington, and works as a real estate agent with Windermere Realty in

Jeff has been an AQHA world show finalist and has owned and shown a number of AQHA superior and world show qualifiers, training with Larry Little in North Carolina, Brian and Alice Holmes and Jess Herd while living in Kansas, and Mike Dunn in California. Jeff is currently training with Kristy Staniforth McCann in
Washington
State. He is a member of the NSBA and AQHA and is currently serving as the past president of the Washington State Quarter Horse Association.
When Jeff’s not showing horses or renovating houses, you’ll likely find him in the
Sierra Nevada mountain range of
California, hiking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
